The Bro Deal

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”

Have you ever received a “bro” deal? In surfing, we’re always looking for it, always hearing about it, and sometimes receiving it. Whether it’s a bar of wax, a tee shirt or something major. Don’t you love the “bro” deal? It’s funny how stoked we are to get a free sticker. But, how stoked are we to give the “bro” deal. Jesus said that it was better to give than to receive. Do we really believe this? Do we practice it?
In Proverbs it says not to put off till tomorrow the good you can do today. Why not look around this week and find ways you can give the “bro” deal to someone, especially other followers of Jesus. Maybe it’s giving them something free or maybe it’s serving them in some way. Jesus did it by washing the feet of His disciples. Ask God to show you some way to give the “bro” deal this week. This is a great way to let Jesus take control of your surfing. Who do you surf for?
